AREAS of
CONCERN
Eye Smile Lines
These fine lines that occur around the eyes are due to loss of volume as well as diminished skin collagen levels. Treatments vary depending on the underlying cause, they include anti wrinkle injections, skin boosters and under eye filler.
Nose to mouth lines
Changes in the cheek volume can cause shadows to form between the nose and mouth called nasolabial folds. Using small amounts of soft tissue filler to replace volume loss can help reduce the appearance of these lines.
Neck Lines
Increased use of technology has caused more people be bothered by lines on the neck. Usually the best treatment for these are a combination of Skin boosters, anti wrinkle injections and sometimes soft tissue filler.
Mouth to chin lines
As we age, our chin and jaw bones get smaller and the fat around the lips diminishes. By replacing a small amount of volume in these ‘marionette lines’ and shin can help soften shadows and slim the lower face.
Sagging jawline
Descending tissue and fat distribution changes in the mid face alongside general facial bone changes with increased age can lead to a heavy appearance in the lower face which effects the chin and jawline sharpness.
Thin lips
As one of the defining features in the face, thin lips can affect confidence. lip volume is easy to increase with soft tissue filler in a natural way when individual ratios and proportions are measured and respected.
Lip lines (‘smokers lines’)
Fat loss around the lips causes increases appearance of fine line around the mouth, a combination of anti-wrinkle injections and very small amounts of hyaluronic acid filler can help support and hydrate the skin.
Under eye shadows
Skin pigment, under eye volume loss and thinning skin showing underlying veins can all contribute to a tired under eye. Skin care, peels and needling are options. Volume loss can be treated by tear trough filler in appropriate cases.
Forehead & frown lines
Collagen and elastin start to deplete in our early 20s so forehead and frown lines are often the first signs of aging. Anti wrinkle injections, skin boosters and microneedling are all good treatments to soften these types of lines.
Dull skin
Ageing skin often looks tired and dull due to sluggish cell turnover, enlarged pores and uneven texture and pigment. Skin treatments such as peels, daily skin care, microneedling and skin boosters are all great ways of addressing tired looking skin.
Sagging Eyelids
Sagging eyelids can be caused by skin laxity and bone and fat volume loss around the eye, temples and forehead. This often requires a combination of treatments; anti wrinkle injections and filler, or in some cases a referral to surgery is the best option.
Flat cheek bones
The bone and fat loss associated with ageing often make flat cheeks worse and so restoration of these features with soft tissue fillers is a quick and subtle way of freshening the appearance of the face.
Excessive sweating
Antiwrinkle injections are a safe and effective treatment for sweating and can really make a big difference to quality of life. We advise that before seeking treatment with us that you get your GP to screen for other causes.
Skin pigmentation
We recommend a bespoke treatment plan to address hyperpigmentation including daily skin care and in clinic treatments such as peels, mesotherapy and microneedling. Book a consultation with us!
Aged hands
Skin boosters and small amounts of natural hyaluronic acid fillers can help restore age related volume loss and skin treatments such as peels can help with age spots and uneven texture.
Crepey skin
Unwanted texture and wrinkles in the face, neck, decolletage and hands. Skin boosters, sculptra, microneedling and in some areas anti wrinkle injections can help improve skin laxity and rough texture that can happen as we get older.
